On 27–28 May 2026, RECONMATIC hosted its final conference, "From Waste to Value: Digital and Automated Solutions for Circular Construction," bringing together researchers, industry professionals, policymakers, and innovators to explore the future of circular construction.
Over two days, the conference showcased the results of the 4-year RECONMATIC project and featured discussions on:
• Digital solutions for C&D waste reduction and avoidance
• Automated and digital solutions for end-of-life buildings
• Innovation strategies for digitisation and circular construction
• C&D waste sorting and automation
• Life-cycle management and assessment
• RECONMATIC’s training platform for circular construction
The event also welcomed the Circular DigiBuild project as a guest contributor, presenting its research outcomes and fostering dialogue on shared challenges and opportunities in the sector. Co-organised by RECONMATIC, Circular DigiBuild, the Circular Construction Cluster, Czech Technical University in Prague - CVUT , INCIEN and Future Needs the conference was held in a hybrid format, bringing together participants from across Europe both in Prague and online.
