Kostas Choumas is Postdoctoral Researcher with the dept. of Electrical & Computer Engineering of University of Thessaly.

His research interests include the implementation of distributed algorithms on wireless and software defined (SDN) networks, as well as the experimentation on testbed platforms. Blockchain belongs to his research interests, due to its distributed architecture. 

He has contributed to EU HORIZON projects oriented in applying blockchain in supply chains, such as RECONMATIC and ALLIANCE.
