RECONMATIC Joins Western Balkans Webinar on Closing the Value Gap in Construction

The RECONMATIC project will participate as a speaker in the upcoming online webinar “Where Value Is Lost and Found: Closing the Value Gap in the Construction Industry”, organised by the Western Balkans Circular Economy Hub, in collaboration with Cradlenet.

RECONMATIC will be represented by Teresa Ros Dosdá (The Institute of Ceramic Technology (ITC-AICE)) and Eglė Joneliunaite (Future Needs), who will share practical tools and learning resources supporting the transition towards circular construction.
Both RECONMATIC and the Western Balkans Circular Economy Hub are active members of the Circular Construction Cluster (CCC), reinforcing the strong collaboration between European initiatives advancing circularity in the built environment.
RECONMATIC Contributions to the Webinar
Teresa Ros Dosdá, Environmental Senior Researcher at ITC-AICE, will present the Circularity Assessment Tool, developed within RECONMATIC to assess circular economy implementation in the construction sector across Europe, the UK, and China, and to establish country-specific baselines.
Eglė Joneliūnaitė, Dissemination & Communication Manager at Future Needs, will introduce the RECONMATIC learning platform, a video-based educational environment focused on circular construction and demolition waste management. The platform, showcases innovative methods, tools, and real-life insights developed within the project, supporting capacity building across the construction value chain.
