Following the successful launch of its free online training platform, RECONMATIC is now taking the next step: bringing circular construction training directly to local communities across partner countries.

Through a series of local training sessions and workshops, RECONMATIC is connecting professionals, students, and public authorities with the tools and knowledge needed to accelerate the transition to circular construction.

These in-person and hybrid sessions complement the project’s digital courses by creating space for dialogue, hands-on learning, and direct exchange with experts and peers in each country.

Building Skills for Circular Construction

Europe generates more construction and demolition waste than any other material stream, yet reuse rates remain low. Addressing this challenge requires not only technological innovation but also skills development and knowledge transfer at every level. By combining digital learning with local engagement, RECONMATIC is helping bridge this gap and bring circular construction practices closer to where they are needed most.

Participants in the training sessions will gain practical insights into:

  • Digital tools such as BIM and digital twins for demolition planning

  • AI-driven waste prediction and automated sorting

  • Blockchain applications for material traceability

  • Circularity assessment and sustainability metrics

  • Strategies for reducing waste and increasing material reuse

All training activities are free of charge.
