The RECONMATIC project will be represented by partners Future Needs and Czech Technical University in Prague at the EU Projects Workshop on Circular Construction during Sustainable Places 2025 (SP25), taking place from 8–10 October 2025 at the Monte Rosa 91 Conference Centre in Milan.
SP25 is a leading event for sustainable, digitalised, and circular construction, bringing together industry professionals, policymakers, researchers, media, and other stakeholders from across Europe.
This collaborative workshop will bring together five Horizon Europe projects – DATAWiSE, INBLANC, WILSON, DeCO2, and RECONMATIC - all advancing circular and data-driven construction solutions.
DATAWiSE focuses on improving building operations and lifecycle decision-making through advanced analytics and AI, optimising energy use, comfort, sustainability, and risk management. Its interoperable data infrastructure ensures scalability and real-world application.
INBLANC addresses sector fragmentation with an open ecosystem for lifecycle data, including digital logbooks and integration with EU data spaces. Demonstrations cover low-carbon renovation, urban integration, and enhanced facility management decision-making.
WILSON explores decentralised data management using a data mesh architecture and digital twins, delivering innovations in predictive maintenance, biodiversity assessment, semantic renovation, and smart readiness indicators.
DeCO2, also a member of the Circular Construction Cluster (CCC), promotes decarbonisation through social and policy innovation, leveraging local industrial ecosystems to accelerate the use of sustainable materials and Construction 4.0 practices for long-term impact.
RECONMATIC targets lifecycle construction and demolition (C&D) waste management, using automation and digital tools to improve data exchange, streamline logistics, and enhance decision-making for reuse and recycling. The project supports the vision of a zero-waste construction sector by 2050.

The workshop will feature interactive presentations from each project, highlighting technical innovations, early results, and lessons learned. A Q&A session will allow participants to explore collaboration opportunities, discuss common barriers, and identify strategies for scaling and replication.
Join RECONMATIC at SP25 as we demonstrate how data-driven tools and collaborative EU projects are transforming the construction sector towards circularity, sustainability, and digitalisation.
