Anita Banjac 

- University of Zagreb

Anita Banjac (formerly Martinčević) received her Ph.D. in 2020 from the University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, Croatia. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Control and Computer Engineering at the same institution.


Her research focuses on advanced control and estimation methods, with an emphasis on model predictive control, system identification, and data-driven optimization for energy-efficient building systems. She is the author and co-author of peer-reviewed scientific and professional publications in the areas of building climate control, energy management, and hierarchical coordination of complex energy systems.


She actively contributes to research and applied projects related to intelligent and energy-efficient buildings, with a focus on real-world deployment of advanced control algorithms in large-scale energy systems.
